New Members: Welcome! After Sacrament meeting, please come to the ward clerk’s office in the north foyer of the chapel to arrange with Matt Modawell or Dan Przybyla to have your records transferred.

October Fast Sunday: Due to general conference the first weekend in October, Fast Sunday will be October 12.

Building Cleaning Assignments: It's our time to clean our ward building again. The schedule shows by first initial of your last name. If you are unable to make it on your date, please choose another date to participate. Meet at the meetinghouse at 8:00am.

Temple Cleaning Service: Volunteers are needed to help clean the Saratoga Springs temple. Volunteers must have an active temple recommend. Come dressed in church clothes and comfortable shoes. Shifts are on the following dates:

Ward Halloween Party: October 25th @ 5:00pm at the pavilion.

Power From On High: Tracing the Restoration of the Priesthood Through the Doctrine & Covenants. 

Greg Christofferson will show through the revelations in the Doctrine & Covenants how the early church’s understanding of the Priesthood grew “line upon line” as they came to understand and incorporate Priesthood authority, offices, ordinances and orders. In addition to this historical background, attendees will gain a more clear appreciation of how priesthood power is central in their lives and to the ongoing restoration.

Developmental Center Service Opportunity: December 21. 

We have a great opportunity during the holiday season to serve some members of our community who are in need. This will be for youth ages 14 and older and we will be assisting during sacrament meeting at the developmental center. The stake will send more details as it gets closer.

Primary

Junior Primary Activity: Saturday, October 18 - Cancelled. 

Primary Program Practice: Saturday, October 25 from 9:00am to 10:30am

Primary Program: October 26 

This is the annual Primary Program. It's adorable, uplifting, amazing, and inspiring. Invite loved ones or anyone to come experience. 

Parts have been assigned out, and each child has received a paper on which to record each time they practice the songs. Fill it out and turn the paper back in for a special prize.

HERE is the list of songs to play at home with your little ones.

Sacrament Meeting Musical Number: Here is the next time and song the Primary will be singing in sacrament meeting in case you want to practice at home and/or invite loved ones to see:

Valiant 10 Primary Graduation Party: November 8 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Holbrook Farms Building. This is for all Valiant 10 children who are moving up to YM/YW in January.

Letter to Parents:

We love having all of your kids here in Primary and love learning from them what it truly means to be as a little child as we come unto Christ.

As part of our efforts to maintain reverence in Primary we ask that your child(ren) refrain from bringing anything with them to Primary other than a set of scriptures. If the scriptures are kept in a bag, there should be nothing other than the scriptures and a scripture marking pencil/crayon if desired. 

If something is brought other than scriptures, they will be asked to go and give the item(s) to an adult family member prior to coming into singing time or class.

Thank you for helping us teach your children about reverence and helping us maintain reverence and a distraction free environment so all children can feel the spirit while they are with us in Primary.
